Doug Bibb’s Landscape Company, Inc. does its best to offer the highest quality design/construct services available to Northern Virginia homeowners. Most of our clients want to have their enhancements done right to look great and last. We are not a big company, nor do we strive to become one. We dedicate a crew to each home, because that’s the best approach to optimize worker concerns for quality and service. We serve all of Northern Virginia. By working close to home, we are most able to meet our schedules and budgets.
After we speak, usually by phone, we will meet at your home. There we will discuss your needs and expectations, and look at our extensive portfolios of before and after photos. When it’s outdoor work you want, we’ll walk your property and listen to what you want. We will then share some ideas. This initial meeting usually takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, and there is no charge.
Our next step is to develop a written estimate for your project, or develop a design. Project estimates and plan budgets are itemized to help you understand what's involved, both to answer questions and solicit them. We want you involved! If you want us to provide design only services or (more commonly) design/build services, we will offer you a Design Parameters Questionnaire that we've created to brainstorm your "wish list." Once you've completed the questionnaire, we will be able to tell you how much the design will cost. Once you decide to go to construction, we will take care of any architectural drawings or documentation your Home Owner's Association (HOA) or Architectural Review Board (ARB) requires. We will be responsible for obtaining building permits and coordinating all inspections. We will not take short cuts.

Talk about outstanding work and care! Doug Bibb and his crew are just outstanding, good human beings. Very hard working and talented company who are willing to do more than just an average job. Before ultimately deciding on going with Doug Bibb's Landscape for my hardscape / landscape project, I had at least four other firms review the complicated space for ideas, quotes, etc. The design that the team of Doug and Brittany came up with far exceeded anything the other firms had provided me. They were able to maximize the use of my outdoor space, offer many outstanding features that I had not even thought of, while still keeping it flowing, uncluttered and really impressive. Doug Bibb's Landscape Company is hands down the best landscape company with whom I have had the pleasure of working since I moved to the Northern Virginia area. Why is Doug Bibb's Landscape Company so good? Glad you asked. They offer timely, professional and friendly service. They offer design plans, horticulture advice, they plant only the best shrubs, trees and flowers. They are honest. They guarantee their work, they follow up on jobs checking plants, making sure they are being watered, and they are courteous and quick about call backs. They also offer maintenance. They offer budge friendly jobs, and long term plans. I don't even call anyone else. I have been working with Doug Bibb's Landscape company for 10 years. That speaks volumes. During that time I have tried two other landscape companies in the area and went right back to Doug Bibb. He is the only one who really means what he says and does what he says he's going to do. In addition, and in conclusion, Doug and his team, that includes an very knowledgable designer, Brittany, really look at and study the yard at different times of day to see where the light patterns are. They take note of what seems to grow heartily in the particular soil of the yard, the designer takes into consideration they type of plants used so the yard looks good all year long.
